Tata opens RFID center in Chicago
RFID is an emerging electronic identification technology that companies are using to do everything from managing retail inventory to finding lost children at theme parks. Tata's RFID practice focuses on business consulting, architecture design, radio frequency equipment selection and installation, software development and implementation, and systems integration, the company said. The Chicago center also expands Tata's growing presence in North America, the company added. It now has more than 9,000 employees and 55 offices in the United States and Canada.
