Systinet, AmberPoint bundle Web services wares

Two Web services companies, Systinet and AmberPoint, on Monday announced a product-bundling deal designed to ease the operation of large-scale Web services applications.

The two companies have created a package that includes Systinet's Registry, which creates a catalog of available Web services programs, and management software from AmberPoint. The SOA Starter Pack product, which is supported by both companies, is available now and costs $25,000. Executives from Systinet and AmberPoint said that the combined products will help business customers better manage the rollout and ongoing maintenance of large-scale Web services installations. The two companies are targeting customers that are building applications around Web services protocols and which have invested in a services-oriented architecture, a system design meant to help companies modify applications easily and roll out applications quickly.
