Symantec updates Norton AntiVirus

Security software maker Symantec announced the release of Norton AntiVirus 2002. The latest version of the software incorporates new security and usability features and works with Windows XP, Microsoft's new version of the Windows operating system. The software is available in stores and through Symantec now for $49.95, with a $20 rebate for those upgrading from a previous version of Norton AntiVirus.

Thank you for your thorough reviews, especially because my Norton Internet Security subscription expired and -- because I'd been unhappy with how slow it was -- I actually hadn't renewed yet. Now I'm comfortable buying their 2009 software. Thanks again!
