Symantec to resell Qualys services

In a move to further expand its footprint, vulnerability management specialist Qualys has partnered with security company Symantec to resell its service. Symantec of Cupertino, Calif., will offer Qualys' service through Symantec Managed Security Services, Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Qualys said in a statement on Monday.

Qualys' service is designed to help organizations manage security risks by scanning, correlating, assessing and analyzing threat data. The combination of the Qualys service with Symantec's Managed Security Services results in a complete hosted vulnerability management service, Qualys said.
