Symantec launches partner program

Internet security company Symantec on Monday announced a program to certify other firms' products as interoperable with the company's Enterprise Security Architecture. The integrated security design, unveiled last summer, includes components for incident management, event management and enterprise security management.

Products, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, certified with the architecture will be able to be easily integrated with the systems. Companies that join the company's Technology Partner Program can display a logo and take part in joint marketing with Symantec.
