Symantec has acquired Reston, Va.-based 4FrontSecurity, it said on Thursday.
The acquisition is meant to provide Symantec with new tools to help customers take manual, Web-based policy compliance assessments, Cupertino, Calif.-based Symantec said in a statement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Symantec described it as a small acquisition.
