People overreacting to "sexual predators"
by Dr_Zinj February 19, 2008 9:20 AM PST
Only 5% of these so labeled sexual predators are pretending to be someone they are not.

75% of the 14-17 year old girls who had a face to face encounter came back for more of the same.

So we have minor women with little to no sexual experience looking for older men with experience.

We have men who have been basically rejected by their partners or sexual peer group complements looking for someone who won't reject them.

And we have parents who are ignoring what their children are doing and too lazy and cowardly to take responsibility for their own failures that they engage in the equivalent of hate crime against the fore-mentioned group of men who have been caught dallying with their daughters.

Guess what? If you can prosecute a teenager 14, 15, 16 years old as an adult for capital crimes, you are acknowledging that they have the capacity to make rational decisions about their lives. If you beleive that, then you can't turn around and say that they can't make decisions about their sexual behaviors; nor can you logically declare sex with a teenager to be statutory rape because they aren't adults.

Rationally stated and factually correct. That and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee when people are forced to accept responsibility for their own actions. get ready for the slew of you suck comments. Mostly from people who want the Guberment [sic] to take care of all their needs.

Lazy people deserve no rest...

Nicely put Dr

It's about time the REAL TRUTH comes out!...

These kids are posing as older than they are, not the other way around. I've seen it happen with my own eyes when the daughter of a friend I had back in the early 90s lied about her age so she could get older guys. BTW: she didn't even have a computer, either!!!

That Stupid Jamie Lee Curtis PSA
by Stating February 19, 2008 10:38 PM PST
The radio keeps endlessly running this stupid Jamie Lee Curtis PSA about Internet predators. I think her next commercial should be about how many women get beat up after the Super Bowl by men. Yeah, that's another myth propagated by feminists. In the feminist world you teach women to be afraid of men. That makes it easier to convince them to become lesbians.

I quote "Rather, they tend to be adults who make their intentions of a sexual encounter quite plain to vulnerable young teens who often believe they are in love with the predator."

If true which I believe it is, this makes the sexual predators even more sick. I mean here you have a naive teen boy or girl, their hormones are running 8 second miles and this perverted freak screws with their heads until the think they love the pervert and then he/she abuses that love.

This kind of stuff more than I think rape does really can damage a person. If this is your first crush or love what are you going to be thinking when it comes time for your second, third or true love. Will they be able to trust love and their feelings any more? Or, will they just turn to sex for the pleasure and forget about the emotional part of it. Doing so can lead to unsafe sex and lots of other problems just because of one pervert.

God I would like to run the people over with something big and heavy.

Robert
