3,530 hours annually?????
If usage per person is 3,530 hours annually...

That is 67.88 hours per week

or

9.66 hours per day

??????? Where do all those hours come from????

There are only 24 hours in a day.
There is no way that usage per person is 40% of their total available hours.

Something smells funny here.

News papers only used for bottom of bird cage...
Ben Franklin would be sad of the state, and fate of news papers.
However, if he was still alive, I'm sure he would embrace the new
technology of the web to deliver just as it happened news.
I stopped reading news print several years ago, and never
looked back. I now only read my news feeds, and I can see
where a lot of those hours come from. I find myself reading one
article with an interesting link, click it and start reading another
article.
Time it's all said and done, I've spent about 2 hours reading
articles. The news papers (as we know it) end is in sight.
