The article title "Antarctic glaciers retreating" is a bit broad. The
glaciers are retreating only on the peninsula, as the article
indicates. The peninsula is a finger of land that extends
significantly northward, towards South America, from the main
continent.

Year round temperatures over almost all of Antarctica remain
well below zero, and hence, not melting. Please see the annual

If I needed more global warming propaganda I would watch TV!
Yes the climate is warming, DUH!
For the friggin last 12,000 + years.
Sea levels have risen several hundred feet in that time.
Just because a bunch of silly monkeys built their nests too close to the shore aint gonna stop it!
Move and **** about it already.
