- Again, just like Sirius to take YEARS to catch up with XM. YEARS ago XM had a portable live-content satellite receiver and now they're on their second generation. Sirius is only now getting to a portable unit that isn't pre-recorded content only... wow they reinvented the iPod. YEARS ago XM started their internet only option, and offering it cheaper than Sirius can offer theirs.
