Four-year-old start-up Relicore on Monday is set to announce an update to its software for spotting glitches and introducing changes to corporate data centers. The company's Clarity software automatically creates a visual map of a company's computing infrastructure, including the connections between different software and hardware components. By charting out the interdependencies in distributed corporate applications, system administrators can more easily pinpoint the source of computing problems, according to the company.
Clarity version 3, available now for $100,000, expands on the product's capabilities around discovering application dependencies and viewing changes to configuration settings. Burlington, Mass.-based Relicore is venture-backed and has five customers. In addition, roughly 12 corporations are testing the company's product.
