Start-up aims to help Web publishers

A start-up dubbed Baynote is set to launch Tuesday to offer on-demand software as a service so Web site publishers can make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. Baynote, which received $4.6 million in venture capital funding last year, offers software that monitors the behavior of visitors to Web sites.

The software keeps track of items such as how long visitors spend on a particular page, whether they revisit the page and whether they scroll, said founder and Chief Executive Jack Jia. The software also lets Web sites offer navigation help to visitors via links to the most popular pages based on visitor patterns, similar pages and recommended next steps.

I mean come on. What this company is offering has been around for years now. What possible relevance is there to this article? There is nothing new this company is offering, nor is this company interesting.
