Spring training to play online

MLB Advanced Media, the interactive arm of the Major League Baseball, says it will stream spring training games on its Web site. The company plans to offer 350 games via the Gameday Audio section. Although the games will be free to baseball fans during spring training, the service will charge a fee during the regular season, according to the company. The site will broadcast another 38 games through its MLB Radio section.

The professional baseball organization had announced its plans in October. Last March, the baseball league licensed its Web radio broadcast rights to RealNetworks.
