banks are responsible
by alenas October 6, 2007 10:14 AM PDT
US banks are responsible too. In majority of European countries those checks would not be processed and money would be given only if check is valid.
Maybe it is time for US banks to change their flawed practices?
Another example is that anyone can create fake account on someone else's name in US (not possible in Europe). Or imagine what you could do if you would have had your neighbours bank account number (you could not do anything in Europe again).
US is such a nice place for fraudsters...

Dummies... 18% of the populace are responsible
by wbenton October 8, 2007 7:42 AM PDT
Their lack of common sense and willingness to believe any/everybody show their ignorance and stupidity.

They are the ones who need to be held accountable. If they can not be held responsible for what they do... then who in the world can? (* CHUCKLE *)

I heard once that a College Professor with a Doctorate degree from a famous University has fallen for TWO (2) such scams.

Get rich quick schemes have strings attached... usually around your neck. It's common sense! Thus there's no need in trying to shift the blame where it doesn't belong.

If the people are stupid enough to believe the scams... then they should pay for their own ignorance. Making them responsible for their own actions might just get some of them to wise up!

At least 18% of the human populace are NOT part of the most intelligent species on this planet!!!
