Still waiting for a Japanese Linux
Well another specialized processor doesnt seem to fit into sony's
plan for the coming years anyway. What i think Sony and other
japanese manufacturer should do is develop its own operating
system base on Linux to rival Apple and Microsoft. Well thats just
me begging for an OS X rival so i can buy a new computer that
doesn't have to be an Apple.

I totally agree...
I'm tired of being stuck with apple... is it that unrealistic for a few big hardware makers to start a joint venture and make a new operating system? Maybe something like Nokia's S60 platform?
