Dell recall increased by 100K NOT 1 million

Dell announced that the number of batteries recalled was 4.2 million instead of the previously announced 4.1 million, an increase of 100,000 units. This report has a FACTUAL ERROR in stating that Dell has recalled "42 million" instead of "41 million"!

I can't believe it, even after this fiasco, it looks like these manufacturers are going to continue using poor-quality Sony batteries in their laptops.

Looks like it's HP only for my future laptop needs...

Great News

Now I can finally go buy the laptop I've been holding out for now that everybody seems to be recalling their batteries! Anybody else who uses Sony's batteries are either looking to see how many people are affected and weighing the decision to recall, or are sweating bullets and are DARN sure not to put any Sony batteries in their NEW systems without double-checking!!
