Skybox Security on Tuesday named David Batista as chief executive officer of the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company, which makes software to manage security risks. Batista previously served as chief operating officer of Zone Labs, which was acquired by Check Point Software Technologies in late 2003 for $205 million.
Batista, who will also serve as a director, will replace Skybox founder Gidi Cohen, who will remain on the board of directors and serve as chief strategy officer.
