Sirius to tackle Ivy League sports

Sirius Satellite Radio on Monday announced plans to broadcast a "Game of the Week" featuring football, men's basketball, men's hockey and other games from the Ivy League sports conference, beginning this fall. The Ivy League football season begins on Sept. 17, and men's basketball starts Nov. 11. Financial details were not released.

The radio company has already signed deals to cover several championships, including the NCAA Division I Men's basketball for 2005, 2006 and 2007. It is also the official radio partner of the National Football League, the National Hockey League, the Wimbledon tennis championships and Barclay's English Premier League soccer.
