- Isn't it kind of late now?
- XM and Sirius already have their own satelite networks with XM rolling out their third sattelite in Feb. Those things cost about 500 million to build and another 400 million to orbit it. What would be the point of having 2 seperate complete networks aside from maybe using the other network for other types of services? IMHO they would probably be better off spending the money to launch a higher orbit satellite so the reception does not come in at such a low position in the sky.
