Sirius CEO appointed to industry boards

Joseph Clayton, CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio, has been appointed to the Electronic Industries Alliance board of governors and the Consumer Electronics Association board of directors. Clayton, who was named CEO and president of the satellite radio company last month, will join the two boards Jan. 1. Before joining Sirius, Clayton held senior management positions at Thomson Multimedia, GE's consumer electronics division and RCA. Clayton was previously chairman of the Consumer Electronics Association in 1995 and 1996.
