Software maker Siebel Systems has released a new version of its pay-by-the-month customer information system. The service, called Siebel CRM OnDemand Release 7, features new call center applications the company gained last year in the acquisition of software start-up Ineto Services.
Siebel introduced the OnDemand service about a year ago, putting rival Salesforce.com in its crosshairs. Release 7 is available in the United States for $150 per user per month.
