Short Take: Xylan rolls out new switching devices

Xylan rolled out four new switching devices and support for gigabit-speed Ethernet technology within its line of existing equipment. The new 4024 switch line includes support for all speeds of Ethernet and includes security and policy-based management features, with prices starting at $132 per port. Xylan also announced support for gigabit speeds within the company's OmniSwitch.
