Short Take: WebSweep cleans hard drive after surfing

Luckman Interactive announced WebSweep, software that wipes a computer's hard drive of unwanted files downloaded while surfing the Web. The software, which also offers virus removal, privacy features, and file compression, removes browser cache files from Netscape Navigator and Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Java applets, ActiveX controls, Shockwave animations, cookie files, and push technology data. WebSweep will be available in the third quarter of 1997 for $49.95.
