Short Take: USWeb/CKS appoints human resources exec

USWeb/CKS, an Internet professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Richard Hunt Evans to senior vice president of human resources. Evans spent a majority of his 25-year career with AT&T, including its break-up and consolidation. As vice president of international human resources, he supported over 56,000 employees for AT&T International. As human resources head at USWeb/CKS, Evans will expand the firm's recruiting and retention programs, unite people around the company's values, and develop training and professional development programs that propel the company's leadership momentum.
