Short Take: Tripod to offer animated character search

Web community Tripod will partner with Internet multimedia company Parable to host ThingSearch, a database of Internet animation characters, on its site. ThingSearch will allow Tripod users to download a list of Parable's animated characters to use in personal home pages or on desktops. The two companies will share advertising revenue from the feature, and Tripod will sell Parable's authoring tools to its members.
