Short Take: Total Sports files for IPO

Total Sports, which Webcasts professional sporting events and is partly owned by NBC Sports, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a $57.5 million initial stock sale. The company didn't say how many shares it would sell or the price per share; those details will come in a later filing. The company expects to broadcast more than 4,000 sporting events this year, including college sports, baseball, golf, racing and fishing events.
