Short Take: Time Warner appoints new CFO
Time Warner named Joseph Ripp its new chief financial officer, replacing Richard Bressler, who's been tapped to head the company's Internet arm, Time Warner Digital Media. Ripp is currently CFO of Time Incorporated, the company's publishing arm known for magazine titles such as People, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated. Ripp also was named executive vice president of Time Warner. He will assume his new role July 15.
