Short Take: TheGlobe to license community tools

Online community TheGlobe.com will begin licensing its home page publishing and community building tools to outside Web sites. Teen site Alloy.com, search engine Direct Hit and South Asian online community Chaitime.com will use TheGlobe's Web tools on their services. TheGlobe already has similar deals with high-speed network Road Runner, AOL U.K. and OneMain.
