Short Take: Streaming ad company raises $15.5 million

Lightningcast, an advertising agency that specializes in placing audio and video messages via streaming media over the Net, says it has raised $15.5 million from a group of investors led by Nokia Venture Partners. Other investors included Redleaf Group and Birchmere Ventures. The company, based in Alexandria, Va., initially raised $4.7 million last March from Redleaf and Birchmere.
