Short Take: Sigma Designs announces DVD/MPEG-2 playback card

Sigma Designs announced a DVD/MPEG-2 playback card for original equipment manufacturers. The Realmagic Ventura integrates DVD/MPEG-2 decoder functions into a single PCI board, in an effort to reduce size and cost. The card includes Sigma Designs' DVD-Station software, which offers the features of a standalone DVD player.
