Short Take: Road Runner expands service in Texas

Road Runner, the cable modem service of Time Warner and MediaOne Group, will expand in Texas this summer. Two Time Warner Cable systems in Houston and San Antonio, Texas, will offer the high-speed Internet service. Road Runner, which is currently offered in Austin and El Paso, Texas, will be available to more than two million customers in the state after the new cities are brought online. Road Runner has more than 200,000 subscribers.
