Short Take: Pretty Good Privacy updated

Pretty Good Privacy has posted version 5.0 of its encryption software for individuals and small businesses. The software works with Windows 95, NT 4.0, and the Mac OS and features an easier-to-use interface. Version 5.0 adds multiple message and selective text cryptography, and lets users choose among encryption algorithms. Downloading the software costs $39 until August 15; after that, users will pay $49.
