Short Take: Patent-infringement claims against Centraal dropped

A federal judge has dismissed patent-infringement claims against Centraal over a proprietary database that allows businesses to list their trademarked goods on the Net, the company said today. The suit was filed by Netword, an Arlington, Virginia, firm that simplifies Web addresses for companies doing business via the Net.
