Short Take: Panasonic introduces new ruggedized portable
Panasonic Personal
Computer Company is selling the Toughbook 71, a "ruggedized" notebook
with magnesium case for mobile business users. The 6.4lb system comes with
266-MHz Pentium II processor, a 4GB hard disk drive, 32MB of memory,
12.1-inch active matrix display for an estimated street price of $3,499.
