Network Solutions (NSI), SAIC Venture Capital and other shareholders are selling 7.73 million shares in NSI at $247 each, totalling $1.91 billion. The company didn't give a reason for the stock sale, and company officials weren't immediately available for comment. NSI said it's offering 1 million shares, while SAIC is selling 6.7 million; other unnamed shareholders are selling 30,000 shares. After the offering, NSI will have 34.9 million shares of common stock outstanding.
