Short Take: More ISPs join open access group

A second wave of Internet service providers joined the newly formed OpenNet Coalition, a group of ISPs led by AOL and MindSpring that are lobbying regulators for equal access to cable networks for high-speed Net access. CyberNet Northwest, Digital Highway, FlashNet Communications, InLink Internet Business Services, Internet America, Olympia Networking Services, Public Electronic Access to Knowledge (PEAK), Teleport Internet Services, and Verio joined the group.
