Short Take: Money 98 entices Quicken users

An independent study conducted by Burke Marketing Research has found that 54 percent of current Quicken users say they would select Microsoft Money 98 financial suite over Quicken Deluxe 98 the next time they acquire financial software. The results of the study, which had 202 Quicken users make a head-to-head comparison between the two products, reflect a growing consumer preference for Money 98 over Quicken, which historically has been the leader in personal financial management software.
