Short Take: Microsoft rolls out Word 98 SE

Microsoft today rolled out Word 98 Special Edition, which is designed for customers of the new Apple iBook and iMac computers. It features Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition for $99, which includes the complete version of Word 98; new clip-art images; 100 new, greeting card templates, and sample greeting card paper; Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.5 browser software; and Microsoft Outlook Express 4.5 messaging and collaboration client Macintosh Edition.
