Short Take: Macromedia releases Flash kits

Macromedia has released two software development kits (SDKs) that will let developers add support for its Flash animation to their own applications. The company cited the growing popularity of non-PC Web browsing applications in its decision. One of the SDKs gives new export code and documentation for the file format. The source code SDK provides the means to add Flash support to applications and is available to developers approved by Macromedia.
