Short Take: HotBot to launch commerce service

Wired Digital this week will introduce its first commerce capabilities on its family of Web sites, according to the company. Its HotBot search engine will publish pointers to bookstore BarnesandNoble.com, wine shop Virtual Vineyard, Microsoft's Expedia for travel, Cyberian Outpost for computer products, Music Boulevard, 1-800 Flowers, and Wired magazine. Wired Digital will split revenue on sales originating from the HotBot site.
