Short Take: HBO, TiVo expand agreement
Cable giant HBO and TiVo, whose service lets people record TV shows sans videotape, announced Monday they have expanded their previous agreement. Under the new pact, HBO subscribers with TiVo service can record programs directly from promotional previews on the cable station. Under the current agreement, HBO subscribers receive information on HBO's upcoming, season programming and can then record shows.
