Short Take: German government takes up Net child porn fight

Following an announcement by the Dutch government that it is investigating an alleged child pornography ring online that might have connections in Germany, the German government has launched a drive to fight Net child porn, the Associated Press reported. Chancellor Helmut Kohl's cabinet established a committee to come up with methods for the country's states to work together to fight child porn, the AP reported.
