Short Take: Frontier ships WebCast

Frontier Software later this month will ship a Web-based front end for its network troubleshooting tools. The new WebCast feature publishes all network traffic reports as Web pages, including Java-enabled alarms. WebCast also extends remote monitoring functions that can track client/server application traffic. WebCast works with Ethernet, Token Ring, Fast Ethernet, switched LANs, VLAN, Frame Relay, FDDI, and CDDI networks. WebCast will cost $2,495.
