Short Take: Frontier in network swap with Enron

Frontier Communications announced a telecommunications network capacity swap with the Enron Communications subsidiary of Enron. Under terms of the pact, Frontier will take advantage of capacity on Enron's IP network in western U.S. cities, such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nevada, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. In exchange, Enron will obtain rights to Frontier's layout connecting major cities, such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Washington.
