Short Take: Encryption repeal to be reintroduced in Senate

The Pro-Code legislation, which aims to dismantle much of the current federal regulations on the exporting of encryption, will probably be reintroduced in the Senate this week, according to Matt Raymond, press secretary for Pro-Code sponsor Sen. Conrad Burns (R-Montana). Supporters anticipate significant bipartisan support, but it is unclear if it will be enough to overcome an expected presidential veto.
