Short Take: EFF appoints new executive director

Tara Lemmey has been appointed the new executive director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Lemmey founded Narrowline, an online advertising and media company, and has advised entities such as TRUSTe and the U.S. Postal Service. She has frequently testified before government agencies about online privacy issues and is replacing Barry Steinhardt, who returned to his post as associate director of the American Civil Liberties Union.
