Short Take: Compaq makes equity investment in CrossWorlds Software

CrossWorlds Software, a pioneer of "Processware" enterprise application integration products, has formed a business partnership with Compaq Computer that will have Compaq supporting CrossWorlds through an equity investment; the establishment of a joint Competency Center for purposes of optimizing, performance-tuning, testing, and benchmarking CrossWorlds' software for Compaq's systems; and the commitment of business and technology resources. Compaq joins J. D. Edwards, Kanematsu, Manugistics and Omron in the $25 million round of funding.
