Short Take: Civilization comes to Linux

The next version of the popular Civilization strategy game will be released on Linux as well as Windows machines when it comes out this spring. Loki Entertainment Software is translating the game so it works on Linux machines under an agreement with Civilization publisher Activision, Loki said. The Linux version of, "Civilization: Call to Power," will arrive quickly on the heels of the Windows version this April, and the next Loki game announcement is expected in two months.
