Short Take: Bertelsmann sells 1 million AOL shares

German media giant Bertelsmann AG sold 1 million shares of America Online stock, Bloomberg reported. The sale is not the first time Bertelsmann has unloaded AOL stock. In February Bertelsmann sold 900,000 shares of AOL stock, worth more than $114 million. The international publishing company now holds about 4.4 million shares in AOL. The two firms are involved in joint ventures in Europe and Australia.
