Short Take: Bell Atlantic offers ISDN to D.C.

Bell Atlantic is offering ISDN service to consumers in the Washington D.C. area starting this month. The D.C. Public Service Commission has allowed Bell Atlantic to offer ISDN to homes at interim residential rates, pending further review by the commission. Previously, ISDN was only available in the district at business rates. Prices range from $23.50 a month for minimal use to $249 monthly for unlimited use for voice, data, or video transmission.
